Call for Youth Exchange Scroll Check

14 – 23 February 2026 (including travel days)

Vatra Dornei | Romania

About the project

“Scroll Check” is an international youth exchange dedicated to strengthening critical thinking, media literacy, and responsible digital behavior among young people navigating today’s fast-paced online world. In an era dominated by endless scrolling, viral trends, and AI-generated content, distinguishing truth from manipulation has become a daily challenge. This project creates a meaningful space where young participants can slow down, reflect, and learn to question the information they encounter.

The exchange will bring together 36 young people  from all over Europe.  Over the course of eight intensive days they will explore how digital communication works, how misinformation spreads, and how artificial intelligence shapes the online environment. Through interactive workshops, discussions, group work and creative sessions, participants will develop the confidence and skills needed to verify and interpret information more critically.

Throughout the week, young people will also collaborate on designing awareness campaigns that promote authenticity, truthfulness, and mindful use of social media among their peers. The project not only enables participants to better understand the digital ecosystem but also empowers them to become more resilient, informed, and responsible digital citizens within their communities and across Europe.
