ESC Opportunity: 150 Days in a Castle in Slovenia
Have you ever dreamed of living in a castle while doing something meaningful? Now’s your chance! We’re looking for motivated young people from the Czech Republic (aged 18–30) to join a long-term ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteering project in a picturesque Slovenian town and yes, the local youth center is located inside a real castle!
Over the course of 150 days, you’ll be part of a vibrant international environment where you’ll:
✨ Organize and lead creative workshops and activities for children and teenagers
✨ Share your culture and language through school and kindergarten visits
✨ Design and implement your own project based on your interests and talents
✨ Support the daily activities of a youth center that works closely with the local community
This project offers not only a unique living experience in a historic setting, but also the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
What’s included?
- You will have free accommodation in shared housing, so you don’t have to worry about where you’ll stay.
- You’ll receive a monthly food allowance and pocket money to cover your daily needs.
- Travel costs to and from Slovenia will be fully reimbursed.
- Health insurance is provided for the entire duration of your stay.
- You’ll get guidance and support from experienced mentors throughout the project.
- And most importantly, you’ll have the chance to meet new people, build lifelong friendships, and gain valuable international experience.
Whether you’re passionate about education, culture, art, social work, or community development — this is a space where you can truly make an impact while exploring a beautiful part of Europe.
